  Media Monitor and Analyst for ISAF troops operating in Herat area in winter/spring 2013. “Tutto il fuoco del mondo” (Armando Editore in Rome, 2014) is his book about Afghanistan.

 In 1997 co-wrote art book 100 YEARS OF WINE POSTCARDS (20,000 copies) with historian Enrico Sturani, financed by Monte dei Paschi di Siena Bank (Italy, 1997). Paolo A.Valenti organised the very first exhibition about Benito Mussolini and nazifascist propaganda (title: MUSSOLINI UN DICTATEUR EN CARTE POSTALES) in Lyon's Holocaust Museum (Centre d'Histoire de la Déportation de Lyon); illustrated book printed by Edition d'Art Somogy Paris.  Ansa news agency journalist during the first Gulf War. Contributor for several leading Italian newspapers and magazines: La Repubblica (Rome), La Nazione (Florence), L'Indipendente (Milan), Il Messaggero (Rome), Il Piccolo (Trieste), Il Secolo IX (Genoa), L'ESPRESSO (Rome). Rome correspondent for Il Dovere (Bellinzona, Switzerland).

Voyage en barbarie

Robel, Germay, Filmon and Halefom have survived the Sinaï torture camps. Through their words, in the intimacy of their rooms, the film draws their long trip through barbarism, an experience that has left traces on each of the boys' skin.
